Presentation Description: With repowering, traditional power performance measurements are impossible in complex terrain. This has forced some projects to conduct power performance measurements with nacelle anemometers. This method offers significant cost savings, but offers challenges with regards to accuracy. This paper extends previous work conducted by ArcVera; introducing new data and making critical AEP cross comparisons to evaluate the effect of using Nacelle Transfer Functions (NTF) developed at one site to evaluate wind speeds at another site.
