A civil designer who strives for efficiency and optimization in every aspect of design and construction, Kyle has worked on everything from large oil and gas projects to small municipal projects. Driven to innovate, he has enjoyed dedicating the most recent years of his career to improving the utility solar industry through optimized pile and grading design.
Solar generation is one of the most important means of reducing carbon emissions. Working with members from our Innovation, Community Development, and Energy groups, Kyle is proud to have created and developed Stantec Beacon™, a tool and methodology that automates grading optimization, pile elevations, and complete tolerance validation for solar farms.
