Nate Schmitt, MS (he/him/his)

Nathan (Nate) Schmitt joined the renewable energy industry after more than a decade of teaching high school Chemistry and Physics. He was a graduate intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and he produced sales and analysis tools for several distributed wind companies. As a member of the DOE-grant-funded RADWIND project team, he co-authored reports on the finance, business, and technical aspects of distributed wind development in rural electric cooperatives. He earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA cum laude in Biology from Harvard University.
