Yejide Olutosin, Director, Business Climate Finance Initiative
Impact Experience
Yejide Olutosin directs the Business Climate Finance Initiative at Impact Experience, a social impact NGO based in Oakland, CA. Leading a team committed to embedding justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) principles into corporate net-zero strategies, her team works with firms to uncover the Scope 3, Category 15 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with corporate cash and retirement assets and develop roadmaps for shifting these assets to climate-friendly financial institutions. This approach helps companies achieve their climate action goals while emphasizing equity and reducing financed emissions.
With over a decade of experience across financial advisory, energy policy, and organizational strategy, Yejide has overseen multimillion-dollar renewable energy programs and driven energy policy reforms across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. At J.P. Morgan, she honed expertise in sustainable finance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, advising high-net-worth individuals and organizations on aligning their finances with their values. Yejide's dedication to climate action has earned her global recognition, including her selection as a Globally Emerging Leader for Climate Action Finance Fellow in 2023. She holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA from Howard University.
