After major delays, several major transmission lines have advanced in recent years. Many of these new lines are taking advantage of new Federal tools, as well as a renewed focus at the highest levels of government to ensure robust planning, permitting, and payment regulations for transmission. This panel will cover some of the reasons for recent successes and identify opportunities to leverage those successes to ensure transmission advances at the pace America needs.
