Yashwant Sinha, PhD

Rowan University

Dr. Yashwant Sinha received his master's degree from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK in 2011 and his Ph.D. from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK in 2016, specializing in offshore wind turbines and wind energy. He has taught at Robert Gordon University and then at Bristol Community College in Fall River Massachusets, again focusing on offshore wind energy. He joined Rowan University in Fall 2023 with a joint appointment in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering. He has been teaching and mentoring students and professionals for over 20 years. His academic and research works are primarily focused on workforce development for the offshore wind industry and renewables energy industry. While working for Bristol Community College, he has been a member of the ACP's DEI committee.
