Mike Estergard, a seasoned educator with over twenty years of classroom experience, has transitioned to the realm of informal education at the CSU Powerhouse. Armed with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Mike now spearheads educational initiatives at the Colorado State University Energy Institute. Within this innovative organization, housed within the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), Mike plays a pivotal role in coordinating efforts to develop impactful energy and carbon solutions on a global scale.
Among his achievements, Mike is the developer behind the CSU Energy Institute's mobile classroom, meticulously crafting its curriculum to deliver engaging and informative experiences. Through his work, he aims to inspire a new generation of learners towards a sustainable and energy-conscious future.
Passionate about equity in education, Mike is dedicated to helping underserved students level the playing field so that everyone can learn and thrive.
